Our Beach Huts
We would like to welcome you to our beach huts here we take a look at what you will find in the beach hut on your booked day. The two beach huts are named ‘Phoenix’ and ‘Caribbean blue’ ;
The ‘Phoenix’ is so called because many years ago, when we first owned the beach hut it had a lot of restoration to be done after neglect. Giving the hut another lease of life now it restores our souls when we take a day there; hence Phoenix.
‘Caribbean Blue’ is so called after the Enya song of the same name. We always listen to that song when we are at the beach, and that brings so much joy to us.
Both beach huts have been renovated to a high level to complement the recently refurbished beaches they overlook and sit metres from the sandy beach with panoramic views up and down the Tendring coast.
We have a award winning beach themed decor, including our own beach rules as seen in the pictures below;
Local Amenities:
- Food can be bought a 200 meter walk away from ‘Flags cafe’ including cooked breakfast and lunch sandwhiches takeaway and eat in
- ‘Kings Cliff Hotel’ situated directly above the beach hut offers restaraunt food more expensive than cafe
- A shop can be found 300 meters from the beach hut above the promenade on Kings Avenue providing newspapers, sweets, milk and food
- 15 min walk to Clacton on Sea pier
- Free Wifi can be found at the Kings Cliff hotel situated above the beach hut
- Free parking on the Promenade
- Dog friendly beaches
- Toilets and fresh water tap within 20m
- Disabled access slope 50m
- Sandy beach, including at high tide
